According to Italian reports, a relative discovered the former Fiorentina star’s lifeless body at his residence in Tuscany and alerted the authorities. Early indications suggest that Pin may have taken his own life.
The former central defender was a symbol of Fiorentina, wearing the club’s jersey for nine years and even playing alongside the team’s current coach, Stefano Pioli. The club paid tribute to Pin with a heartfelt message:
