22-year-old Tyler Robinson, accused of murdering conservative activist Charlie Kirk, is reported to have been living with a trans person.

According to U.S. media, the 22-year-old shared a three-bedroom apartment in Utah with a trans individual who was “in the process of transitioning from male to female.” That person is said to be “fully cooperating” with the FBI and handed over the messages regarding the murder weapon, which had been sent via Discord. In particular, in one message Robinson indicated the spot where he had hidden the weapon, in a wooded area.

A source told Fox News: “The perpetrator lived with a trans man transitioning to a woman. It is not known what the nature of their relationship was. They were friends who played video games together. The trans individual is fully cooperating with the police and is not considered a suspect.”

Yesterday, the Daily Mail revealed that Robinson was living with 22-year-old Lance Twigg in a three-bedroom apartment. It remains unclear if Twigg is indeed the person being referred to, as his name is not included in the sworn testimony. His grandfather did not wish to comment on rumors that there was a “trans motive” behind Kirk’s murder: “I don’t want to comment on that. I’m not sure what exactly his situation is right now,” he said. He himself had never met Robinson.

Friends told the Daily Mail that Robinson and Twigg were part of a large group chat of gamer friends, mostly Pine View High School graduates, on Discord.

They had a “romantic relationship”

According to FBI sources cited by Fox News Digital, Robinson and Twigg, beyond living together, also had a “romantic relationship.” The sources clarify that Twigg is “fully cooperating with law enforcement and is not currently charged with any criminal activity.”

However, a member of Twigg’s family said that he was the “black sheep” of the family but refused to speculate on whether there was a romantic relationship. The same person said they did not know Twigg’s political beliefs, nor whether he was in the process of transitioning, though that would not have been surprising.

According to the same person, Twigg had been brought in for questioning. On Saturday, the New York Post reported that no one was at the apartment they shared.
