Drivers are kindly requested, for their own convenience and to prevent accidents, to exercise particular caution when passing through the above areas and to follow the existing road signs and the instructions of traffic police officers.

Meanwhile, the 43rd Spartathlon started at 07:00 on Saturday morning beneath the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis and will conclude once the 36-hour time limit has elapsed, on Sunday, September 28, in the city of Sparta.
It is worth noting that the route follows the same path as the ancient messenger Pheidippides, who ran to Sparta to request immediate help during the Battle of Marathon against the Persians.
