Toxicology tests are expected to shed light on the cause of death of the 53-year-old who died in a tunnel in Larissa

His funeral will take place tomorrow from the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Pteleos Magnesia

Newsroom October 1 03:01

Authorities are trying to shed light on the cause of death of 53-year-old Thanasis Neochoritis, who was trapped for hours inside a cave in Gonnoi, Larissa.

According to reports, the forensic examination did not determine the cause of death even though the deceased had broken ribs and a ruptured spleen. Answers are expected to be shed by the toxicological tests to be conducted, as it is being investigated whether there was a machine inside the makeshift tunnel that was causing fumes.
