“Democrats selectively leaked email to the liberal media to create a false narrative designed to discredit President Trump,” says White House spokeswoman, Caroline Levitt, commenting on the email published by MPs to the House oversight committee, in which Jeffrey Epstein allegedly wrote that the US president “knew about the girls” who had been abused.

“The ‘anonymous victim’ referred to in these emails is the late Virginia Giuffre, who repeatedly stated that President Trump had not engaged in any wrongdoing and that he “could not have been more friendly” toward her during their limited interactions,” it notes.

“The fact remains that President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for inappropriately treating his female employees, including Giuffre. These stories are nothing more than bad faith attempts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any American with common sense immediately understands that this is a hoax and a clear attempt to distract from the reopening of the government,” he says.
