Lily Collins commented on Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Jimmy Fallon, after he had previously said that he watches Emily in Paris

The Greek Prime Minister had said earlier that he likes to relax by watching this show

Newsroom December 11 01:21

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Lily Collins referred to Mitsotakis’s past statements that at the end of the day he watches Emily in Paris with his wife, Mareva.

Fallon told her that “now world leaders argue about Emily in Paris,” noting that Rome wants Emily to move there, while Emmanuel Macron “wants her back in Paris.” Collins made a humorous remark, calling it a “European love triangle.”

She then said: “And the Greek Prime Minister recently said that his wife’s favorite show is Emily in Paris. And that after a long day, what he wants is to go home and watch it with her.” She added: “I was like: What? A hard day at the office? You mean… governing Greece? And then you go home and watch Emily in Paris?”

Kyriakos Mitsotakis had mentioned the show in May 2023 on The 2Night Show, saying that he watches it with his wife when he wants to relax: “It is complete relaxation. I watch it with my wife. It entertains me a lot.”
