“This is a very significant success,” said the Minister for Citizen Protection, Michalis Chrysochoidis, in his address at GADA (General Police Directorate of Attica) regarding the major case involving the dismantling of the operation of the so-called “Greek Escobar,” Alexandros Angelopoulos. In addition to the minister and the Chief of the Hellenic Police, Dimitris Mallios, the U.S. Ambassador, Kimberly Guilfoyle, was also present at the announcements.

Mr. Chrysochoidis spoke of “significant results that benefit societies and countries.”

This marks her first appearance at the General Police Directorate of Attica, where she will also listen to the senior officers of the Greek FBI explain all the details of how they arrested the “Greek Escobar” and his associates.
