Fifty years have passed today, Monday, January 12, since the death of Agatha Christie, and Kleisthenis Studio honored her by unveiling an unpublished photograph from her visit to Greece.
The snapshot was taken in 1958 during a trip by the renowned writer to the country, specifically to Athens. In the image, Agatha Christie—who passed away at the age of 86—is seen at the Acropolis, seated on a column.
As stated in the studio’s post:
“British crime novelist Agatha Christie passed away on this day in 1976 at the age of 86, and Kleisthenis Studio remembers her with an unpublished photograph taken through the lens of Kleisthenis during her visit to our country, specifically to the Parthenon on the Acropolis, on August 29, 1958.”
