Striking footage captured by camera shows the Skopelitis sailing through rough seas.
The vessel continues its daily routes undeterred, as it has done for decades. For the residents of the Small Cyclades, it is the ship that supplies them with essential goods.
The Skopelitis operates routes to and from Donousa, Koufonisia, Schoinoussa, Irakleia, Naxos, Ios, and Santorini.
Amid heavy seas, it does not merely “dance” with the waves, but moves to the rhythm of necessity, service, and its uninterrupted presence on the islands.
