Pro-government protesters in Iran referenced the July incident in which Donald Trump was shot and wounded in the ear during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, during ceremonies in Tehran honoring security officers killed in recent protests.
A photo shared on X shows a protester holding placards threatening the U.S. president with another shooting, this time “without a mistake.”
The display comes after Trump repeatedly warned that he would take action against Iran if the regime continues to suppress and kill protesters. Yesterday, the U.S. president also urged Iranian protesters to continue demonstrating, saying that “help is on the way.”
