Frigate Kimon: Naval cadets welcome with cheers of “Long Live the Navy”

They lined up outside their school and took out their gongs to pay tribute

In their own way, the first Greek Belharra, the frigate Kimon, was honored by the Naval Cadets as the new Navy ship headed for the Salamis Naval Dockyard.

The students of the Naval Cadet School lined up in front of their school, took off their capes and chanted “long live the nation” and “long live the Navy.”

“The future of a strong Navy. ⚓🇬🇷” was the caption of the video posted on the Naval Cadet School’s Instagram account

In another video of the arrival of the frigate “Kimon” at the Salamis naval station, drone footage captured the moment when the first Greek frigate Belharra entered the sea area of Salamis, sailing towards the naval station, where the reception by the political and military leadership of the country, led by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

In the UPSTORIES video, two smaller ships are seen to have set up a watery arch of triumph for the newly arrived frigate “Kimon” with impressive jets of water. The futuristic look of the Belharra is literally riveting, as her size alone is awe-inspiring.
