Mitsotakis: Deeply shaken by the accident involving 7 PAOK fans in Romania

“The Greek government and our Embassy are in direct cooperation with the local authorities, providing every possible support,” the Prime Minister stated

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said he was deeply shaken by the tragic accident in Romania that claimed the lives of seven PAOK fans, in a post on Facebook.

“The Greek government and our Embassy are in direct cooperation with the local authorities, providing every possible support,” he said in a statement shared on social media.

He also expressed his condolences to the relatives of the victims and to the PAOK family, while wishing a speedy recovery to those who were injured.

In these difficult moments, together with all Greek women and men, I express my most sincere condolences to the relatives of the victims and to the PAOK family, with the shared hope that the injured will recover quickly. Our thoughts are with them.”
