More than 3.5 million Epstein case documents made public: Andrew’s email about a “beautiful” 26-year-old Russian woman, 3,200 references to Trump

An update on the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein was provided by the U.S. Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche, presenting the contents of the latest batch of documents from the Department of Justice

Newsroom January 30 09:07

More than 500 lawyers and professionals worked intensively for weeks, day and night, to complete the review and release process of the material of Jeffrey Epstein‘s files. According to Blanche, the Department made public approximately three million pages of documents, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos, bringing the total number of released pages to 3.5 million, in compliance with transparency law requirements.

The audiovisual material does not originate exclusively from Epstein himself. As he said, part of it includes pornographic material, while some photographs and videos appear to have been taken by Epstein or individuals from his circle.

Which individuals’ identities have been concealed by authorities

The U.S. Deputy Attorney General also stated that the faces of all women appearing in the material have been blurred, with the sole exception of Ghislaine Maxwell. By contrast, the faces of men have not been concealed, except in cases where this was unavoidable in order to protect the women appearing in the same material. He also reminded that a mention or appearance in files does not in itself constitute evidence of illegality.

Responding to a question about Maxwell’s claim that dozens of men had entered into secret agreements with the federal government to avoid prosecution, the Deputy Attorney General said he has no knowledge of anything of the sort.

As he emphasized, the Department has reviewed “every page” related to the investigations, and if such agreements existed, they are not known to him.

“I feel frustration as well”

Referring to the victims and survivors of abuse, he acknowledged that many have expressed frustration with the process. “I feel the same way,” he said characteristically, stressing that Epstein’s victims have experienced “unspeakable pain” and expressing hope that the work of recent months will help bring a sense of justice.

“No effort to protect Trump”

Blanche stated unequivocally that there was no attempt to protect the U.S. president. As he said, the Department of Justice neither protected nor targeted anyone, adding that the public’s thirst for information may not be fully satisfied. He stressed, however, that the directive given by Trump was clear: full transparency and the release of the files to the greatest extent possible.

Jeffrey Epstein gave no answers to questions concerning Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation

In a deposition in September 2016, Jeffrey Epstein refused to answer any questions concerning his relationship with former U.S. president Bill Clinton, repeatedly invoking the Fifth Amendment, that is, the constitutional right against self-incrimination.

The deposition was given in the context of a defamation lawsuit filed in 2015 by Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein victim, against Ghislaine Maxwell. The transcript of the deposition was unsealed for the first time in 2024.

According to the text, lawyers asked Epstein more than a dozen questions about Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, requesting, among other things, that he “describe all dinners” he had ever had with the former president and “list every place” where they had been together. They also asked whether Clinton had visited his private island, whether he had traveled on his private jet, whether he knew the Clinton Foundation, and what his contacts with it were.

For each of these questions, Epstein responded with a single word: “Fifth.”

Emails show Prince Andrew’s invitation to Epstein to Buckingham Palace “with privacy”

Emails that have been made public show that Prince Andrew invited Jeffrey Epstein to meet at Buckingham Palace in September 2010.

In the message, Andrew responds to a request from Epstein for “private time” and writes that “alternatively we can dine at Buckingham, with lots of privacy.”

It is recalled that Prince Andrew has repeatedly stated that he “categorically” denies the allegations concerning him in the Epstein case.

Epstein–Prince Andrew email refers to a “beautiful” 26-year-old Russian woman for dinner in London

A document that has been released shows an exchange of emails between Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew (Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) in August 2010, in which reference is made to a woman whom Epstein proposes for dinner.

According to the email, Epstein writes to Andrew that he has “a friend who I think you might enjoy having dinner with” and mentions the dates on which she will be in London.

In the same message, Epstein notes that the woman is 26 years old, Russian, “beautiful, reliable, and yes, she has your email.”

It is recalled that in a statement issued on October 17, 2025, Prince Andrew reiterated that he “categorically” denies the allegations concerning him.

What the “Epstein files” actually are and why they are causing a political storm in the U.S.

It is an issue weighing on the second presidency of Donald Trump: the discussion surrounding the so-called “Epstein files” and what exactly they contain.

Jeffrey Epstein, a financier who had been convicted as a sex offender, was found dead in his cell at a Manhattan jail in August 2019, shortly after his arrest on federal sex-trafficking charges. Since then, persistent rumors have circulated about his death, as well as speculation about who may have visited his private island, with some of this speculation turning into conspiracy theories.

Epstein was awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges when he was found dead at the age of 66. The indictment stated that from at least 2002 to 2005 he sought out underage girls—some as young as 14. According to the same case file, he allegedly paid them hundreds of dollars in cash for sexual acts, either at his home in New York or at his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.

The text also recalls that he had been investigated in Florida in the mid-2000s following complaints from young victims, but ultimately reached a plea deal and pleaded guilty to state charges involving a single minor. The Department of Justice reportedly stated this year that the number of victims was 1,000.

Haven’t files already been released?

A large portion of documents has been made public over the past 20 years, largely through lawsuits filed by victims and earlier criminal investigations. However, the releases of the past roughly six weeks are described as the largest to date, with thousands of documents being published.

Nevertheless, it is reported that the most recent releases did not meet what a bipartisan law in Congress had called for: the release of all files at once.

New political and legal confrontation

Critics argue that the last “wave” of documents prior to the current release violated the law. Members of the Trump administration had then suggested that thousands more documents would follow within the next two weeks—something that, as noted, sparked renewed doubts about whether the handling of the matter has a political dimension.

U.S. correspondent James Matthews is reported as saying that a document release in which Trump appears more prominently during the Christmas period could give him “softer” coverage in the news, when public attention is reduced.

Donald Trump was a friend of Epstein for years but has stated that the two fell out around 2004, years before Epstein’s first arrest. The U.S. president has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.

Photo of Bill Gates in the Epstein files – no indication of illegality

During the review of the newly released Epstein case files, a photograph was identified showing a framed portrait of billionaire Bill Gates, next to two individuals whose features have been obscured.

Bill Gates has acknowledged that Jeffrey Epstein attended “several dinners” with him. In a 2021 interview with CNN, he said he had hoped Epstein’s connections could help raise funds for global health causes.

“It was a huge mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility of my presence,” Gates said. He did not specify exactly when the meetings took place, but U.S. media have reported that they occurred between 2011 and 2014.

It is recalled that the appearance of a name or photograph in the documents does not by itself indicate illegality or involvement in a criminal act.

Maxwell booking photos and financial information

The latest batch of Epstein case documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday includes new material concerning Ghislaine Maxwell, who has been described as an accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein.

According to the report, the documents include booking photos of Maxwell, which also record details such as her height and weight. At the same time, photographs of her home in New Hampshire are being released; these had been included in applications for search warrants.

At least 3,200 documents in the new Epstein files contain references to Trump

The Epstein case files released on Friday appear to include at least 3,200 documents that reference U.S. president Donald Trump. The count is ongoing, and the number may increase as the review of the material continues.

Some of the documents mentioning Trump appear to originate from information and “tips” provided to authorities during the Epstein investigation. In other cases, the references relate to news articles that were incorporated into the file, as investigators also reviewed media material during the inquiry.

Within the same package of documents, there are also emails that simply mention Trump. Indicatively, Epstein is said to have discussed him frequently, even commenting on his chances in the 2016 presidential election.

Donald Trump has denied any wrongdoing or involvement in connection with Jeffrey Epstein.
