Starting Five – Dubai BC: Wright, Avramovic, Bacon, Dangubic, Kambengele

Starting Five – Olympiacos: Walkup, Dorsey, Ward, Vezenkov, Milutinov

Olympiacos has five consecutive victories and aims for their sixth in a row. The team is in excellent form, but the match against Dubai will not be easy.

Team Rosters

Olympiacos 12-man squad: Thomas Walkup, Cory Joseph, Tyler Dorsey, Evan Fournier, Shaquille McKissic, Tyson Ward, Giannoulis Larentzakis, Sasha Vezenkov, Alec Peters, Nikola Milutinov, Tyrique Jones, Donta Hall

Olympiacos arrived in the United Arab Emirates as second in the EuroLeague standings with a 16-8 record, having played one game fewer than leaders Fenerbahce (17-7). Their head-to-head game against Fenerbahce in Athens was postponed due to severe weather.

Dubai BC enters the game as 13th with an 11-14 record, coming off a narrow loss to Red Star Belgrade (95-92). They will aim for a strong performance against the Greek champions.

Olympiacos will have the same injuries as in the Barcelona game. Captain Kostas Papanikolaou is sidelined due to sciatica, along with Monte Morris (injured) and Frank Ntilikina (recovering). Mustafa Fall traveled with the team but will not play.

Dubai will also miss key players. Davis Bertans remains out due to injury, while newcomer Bruno Caboclo has yet to make his debut. Costa Contic last played in Round 16, Buggy Ellis is out since Round 13, and Nate Mason and Mam Jaite are also unavailable.

Match Analysis

Olympiacos’ strength lies in defense, conceding five fewer points per game than Dubai. They also excel in rebounds and assists, while Dubai averages two fewer turnovers per game and has a slightly better free-throw percentage.

The game will tip off at 18:00 and will be refereed by Emilio Perez (Spain), Gitis Vilius (Lithuania), and Manuel Atard (Italy).

Key Players in Form

Olympiacos showcased brilliant basketball against Barcelona in the first and fourth quarters. They now aim for a sixth straight win and a 9th victory in their last 10 EuroLeague games.

New Canadian point guard Cory Joseph, despite only two practices with the team, showed glimpses of his talent in 12 minutes on the court. However, it was Tyrique Jones’ night. He excelled with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 2 assists, and 4 fouls drawn in just 20:54 minutes, surpassing star Sasha Vezenkov in the player rating system.
