Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis has filed a libel lawsuit against Zoe Konstantopoulou, president of the Electoral Alliance, at the courts of the former Evelpidon School.

“I file lawsuits during the day and while wearing a suit,” Georgiadis said pointedly, clarifying that the legal action concerns statements made by Konstantopoulou about Violanda.

“I will not allow Ms. Konstantopoulou to criminalize the country’s political life. That is why I have not taken legal action over what was said in Parliament. What is said in Parliament remains in Parliament,” he stressed.

He added: “Her attempt to construct a new Tempe narrative around me will fall on deaf ears, and democracy will withstand such toxicity.”
