The talks between Ukraine and Russia, held today in Geneva for a second day under US mediation, have concluded, according to the Russian news agency RIA.
Russia’s TASS agency, citing Russian chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky, reported that additional talks are expected to take place soon.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of attempting to delay the peace process after a “difficult” day of negotiations in Geneva on Tuesday.
“Yesterday’s meetings were indeed difficult, and we can state that Russia is trying to prolong the negotiations, which could have already reached their final stage,” Zelensky wrote on X.
