The trivago.gr search engine presents the most popular islands in the Mediterranean based on 47 search platforms.

Ten of the thirty places in the list are Greek islands. In the top ten make their appearance Crete, in sixth place, while two positions below in the eighth appears the cosmopolitan Santorini.

The list of Greek islands complement Rhodes in the (12th place), Mykonos, which occupies the 13th position in the 15th place is Corfu and Cyprus in 17th. It should be noted that the list of the top islands appears Milos, one of the islands that could well be classified as an unexplored paradise of the Aegean, at least for the foreign tourists.

The popularity list was created from the searches that took place on 47 platforms and the trivago from the 1st of April until the 30th of June 2014 for holiday trips that will take place from the 1st of July to the 31st of August.
