Warsaw, Bucharest and Thessaloniki are the European cities with the cheapest five-star hotels, while London, Florence and Paris currently offer the most expensive five-star accommodation in Europe.
The Greek capital is in the top ten of the cheaper and most expensive European hotels, according to a survey conducted by Kayak.com, which compares prices across Europe.
Thus, a single night in a 5 star hotel in the “cheap” Warsaw costs 104 euro, in contrast the corresponding amount in the “expensive” London stands at 397 euro. Thessaloniki ranked second in the top 10 of the cheapest 5-star hotels to the average price for a single room at 108 euro, while Athens is in fourth place, after Bucharest with an average price of 128 euro per night.
