The incident happened in Spain

Newsroom August 24 08:36

A video clip posted on Twitter from Spain shows a uniformed individual (unclear if it is a police officer or private security) beating two women with a truncheon because they are not properly wearing their face masks.

The footage shows two women involved in an altercation with the female officer, who beats them across the arms and upper body.

One of the women appears to have suffered a serious injury to her arm as a result of the blows.
