Maria Sharapova becomes a mom for the first time (photos)

The former world number one tennis player Maria Sharapova has confirmed on Instagram that she has been a mother to a healthy boy for almost two weeks.

Maria Sharapova let her career end two years ago, now the former world number one announced on Instagram that she became the mother of a healthy boy on July 1 of this year, who will be named “Theodore”. The words accompanying the post read, “The most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding gift our little family could possibly have.”

The Father of little “Theo” is the British businessman Alexander Gilkes. Sharapova has been married to the 43-year-old multimillionaire for just over a year and a half. We wish the couple and the newborn all the best!
