Athens shuts down – Annual Polytechnic march toward the US Embassy underway (photos-video)

The anniversary march for the revolt of the Polytechnic is currently underway in downtown Athens. At the head of the march is the blood-stained flag which is carried by the hands of PASP members and will end up at the American embassy.

Parking and vehicle traffic is prohibited until Friday morning around the historic building of the Polytechnic on Patision Street and in a radius that includes Kaningos Square, Exarcheion Square, and the Archaeological Museum.

The Traffic Police appeals to drivers to avoid the movement and parking of their vehicles in the areas of the events, the route of the march, and around the US embassy, ​​as well as in the wider area of ​​the center, both to serve them and to prevent additional traffic problems.
