Brazil: Scenes of Civil War – Assaults on government buildings by Bolsonaro supporters (videos)

Bolsonaro's supporters refuse to accept Lula's election to the presidency

Newsroom January 9 09:45

Riots have erupted in Brazil, where a conflict of unprecedented proportions is unfolding, with supporters of former president Jair Bolsonaro storming government buildings as they reject the change of leadership sealed with last week’s inauguration.

The scenes are reminiscent of the January 6, 2020 storming of the US Capitol.
