ND opens 6.3% gap, Interview poll shows

Kasidiaris' party, Greeks for the Homeland, recorded a percentage of 3%

Newsroom May 2 02:01

According to the data in a poll carried out by the company Interview, just three weeks before the May 21 election, the ruling New Democracy (ND) has opened a 6.3% gap over SYRIZA after the “plunge” of March (3.6%), where the tragic accident of Tempi took place. In April the difference was at 5% and in February at 6.7%.

A notable finding of the survey carried out on behalf of POLITIC, is that the percentage of the undecided vote (undecided, don’t know/don’t answer), shrank to 8.7%, from 15.3% in March, and returns, strengthening mainly the first party, New Democracy.

Specifically, the ND registers a percentage of 32.3% (from 31.2% of the April poll) compared to 26% of SYRIZA (from 26.2%). PASOK – KINAL rises to 9.8% (from 9.2%), KKE is at 6.3% (from 6.7%), Hellenic Solution is at 3.8% (from 4%), while MePA25 is stable at 4%. For the first time, Kasidiaris’ party, Greeks for the Homeland, with a percentage of 3% (from 2%) seems to be marginally entering the Parliament, followed by National Creation with 1.9% (from 1.7%).

The undecided rate drops to 8.7% from 10.5% in the previous month’s poll.
