Tucker Carlson drops first Twitter episode, gets 47 million views (video)

The former Fox News host also observed that news stories that one would expect to be absolute bombshells have largely gone ignored

Newsroom June 7 10:58

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson dropped the first-ever episode of his new show, “Tucker on Twitter,” on Tuesday, following his ousting from Fox News in April.

Carlson jumped right into recent news, reporting that there has been an explosion at the Kakhovka Dam in southern Ukraine. He noted that this attack “puts the largest nuclear reactor in Europe in danger of melting down,” and explained that such a catastrophic potential consequence indicates that if done purposefully, such an act was one of “terrorism” rather than a “military tactic.”

He pointed out that while the dam being blown up is inconvenient for Ukraine, it hurts Russia even more given that the nation built the structure, which currently sits in Russian-controlled territory and supplies water for Crimea. Carlson charged that “a fair person would conclude that the Ukrainians probably blew it up,” and said that he makes similar assumptions about the nation’s role in the Nord Stream explosion.

Carlson took some time to attack war hawks in the Washington establishment such as Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and former Republican Governor Nikki Haley for their support of continued American involvement in Ukraine.

He also dunked on American neoconservative commentator Bill Kristol over his allegation that Russia sabotaged its own construction, saying that “the man who once told us that Saddam Hussein was responsible for 911” quickly moved to “savagely” compare Russian President Vladimir Putin to former US President Donald Trump, adding that “the rest of the pundit classmates” coordinated similar “noises.”

“Putin did it, Putin did it,” Carlson sarcastically exclaimed.

The former Fox News host also observed that news stories that one would expect to be absolute bombshells have largely gone ignored. On Monday, a former US Air Force officer revealed that the “US government has physical evidence of crashed non-human-made aircraft, as well as the bodies of the pilots who flew those aircraft,” claimed Carlson, who added that “it was clear he was telling the truth.”
