The man who contracted the virus in Liberia was quarantined in a Dallas hospital, while four more people who lived in the same apartment as Duncan are also in quarantine and are being examined by specialized doctors.

It should be noted that during the last days the man was in a critical, but stable condition, according to his doctors.

Finally, it is also worth noting that in previous statements, CDC head Thomas Frieden had stated that Thomas Duncan was not receiving experimental drugs for the lethal virus. According to the American scientist, the experimental dosages of ZMapp “have dissapeared” and “will not be available soon”.
