Greek Local Elections 2023 – Attica region results: ND-backed Nikos Hardalias secures 51 seats with 46,74 % of the vote

There was a 46,24% participation rate

Nikos Hardalias, who headed the “Attica Forward” faction in the Attica regional elections and is backed by the ruling New Democracy was victorious, according to the final official results.

With 1.336.771 ballots integrated from the 2.890.820 registered (participation rate 46,24% with invalid 2,91% and white 3,76%) in 5.908 polling stations of the Region the percentages of each faction with the seats allocated to them are:

– Chardalias Nikolaos “Attica Forward” 46,74 % and 51 seats

– Ioakimidis Georgios ‘Atticus Circle’ 15,53 % and 12 seats

– Protoulis Ioannis ‘Laiki Syspiroirosis’ 13,87 % and 10 seats

– Sgouros Ioannis ‘Attica Independent Self-Government’ 13,31 % and 10 seats

– Kambouris Filippos ‘Battle for Attica’ 3,18% and 2 seats

George Demetriou’s “Ecological Alliance” with 2.90%, Mariana Tsihli’s “Anypopular Attica” with 2.46%, and Kostas Toulgaridis’s “Anti-capitalist Revolt in Attica” with 2.02% remained outside the Regional Council as they did not reach the 3% threshold.
