Exarchia: Hooded men threw Molotov cocktail at police officers – They broke a shop window

Police officers did not make any arrests or charges as a result of the incidents

Yesterday was a night of tension in the Exarcheia area as a group of hooded men attacked police officers with Molotov cocktails and stones, causing the streets around the square to resemble a battlefield for some time.

Shortly after midnight, a group of about 30 people came out into Exarchia Square and set fire to rubbish bins.

Then, they attacked with Molotov cocktails, stones and stones against a platoon of riot police on Messolonghiou Street, with the police using chemicals and throwing flash-bang grenades in order to drive them away.
