The Maximos Mansion and New Democracy are in full electoral swing with Kyriakos Mitsotakis planning visits within Attica and regional areas. All top members  of the governing party, ministers, and members of parliament will give a strong appearance. During the PM’s recent visit to the municipality of Agios Dimitrios, in Athens he dismissed  complacency and emphasised to Greek voters that June 9 elections must not be downplayed.

The electoral battle of the European election has shown that it directly affects domestic politics. Today, Mr. Mitsotakis will continue with his electoral campaign heading to the Vegetable Market in Agios Ioannis Renti following his interview for the Greek Morning show, Morning Coffee.

PM Mitsotakis will then convene a meeting with his top ministers at New Democracy’s offices to assign each member regions for the European electoral campaign.

Sources to protothema.gr indicate that 12 ministers have been added to the electoral battle, the Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, will be responsible for Central Macedonia, the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis for Western Macedonia while Christos Staikouras is designated for Eastern Macedonia-Thrace.
