In response to recent events, the Prime Minister convened a ministerial meeting to address concerns about ineffective measures. This led to a plan involving relevant ministers focusing on stadium security enhancements. Yiorgos Floridis emphasised that governmental decisions should not be challenged, drawing from his sports background. He condemned the violence in parliament as emblematic of extreme right-wing ideology, labelling them as promoters of hate. Floridis criticised those who exploit religion for political gain, quoting Archbishop Hieronymus on the essence of Christianity.
