His full name is Slimane Nebchi, but artistically, he is simply known as Slimane. He is a singer and songwriter who gained great fame after winning the 5th season of the French Voice in 2016.

Slimane has since built an impressive solo career, boasting over 25 songs on the French Singles Chart. His television appearances include “Nouvelle Star,” the French equivalent of “Pop Idol,” and the game show “Fort Boyard.” Born on October 13, 1989, in Sèvres, Seine-et-Marne, France, Slimane has Algerian roots from his immigrant grandparents. Before his stint on The Voice, Slimane shared his music online. His Eurovision hit “Mon Amour,” which earned him 4th place, was self-penned.
