Fire in Polygyros Halkidiki – One helicopter in the battle of extinguishing the fire

22 firefighters with 9 vehicles have rushed to the scene and are operating while 1 helicopter is assisting in the extinguishing operation

An alarm has been raised in the fire brigade over a fire in an area of Polygyros, in Halkidiki.

The fire broke out shortly before 3pm in an agricultural area. At the point have rushed and operate 22 firefighters with 9 vehicles while in the extinguishing operation assisted with water drops from the air and 1 helicopter.

According to the fire brigade, the flames do not threaten a residential area.
