Papathanasis: Announced the establishment of a new Investment Fund through the Development Investment Bank

The importance of the establishment of a new EOS Hellenic Renaissance Fund II (“EOS II Fund”), under the name EOS Hellenic Renaissance Fund II (“EOS II Fund”) is underlined by the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis.

The main investor is the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments with funds from the Recovery and Resilience Fund, within the framework of the National Plan “Greece 2.0”, through the “Q-Equity” program. Institutional and private investors, including Greek and foreign banks, are also participating.

The EOS II Fund is aimed at Greek SMEs with high growth potential, an annual turnover of up to 100 million euros and up to 500 employees.

It is expected to further strengthen entrepreneurship in strategically important and extroverted sectors of the Greek economy.
