How Artificial Intelligence is changing the comments on protothema.gr

The new AI algorithm contributed to the exponential increase in comments from 30,000 to 320,000 per month

Newsroom July 22 02:51

Proto Thema has made a strategic move, incorporating in protothema.gr articles an advanced artificial intelligence algorithm for automatic comment checking. This technology, developed in collaboration with a leading US company in the field of artificial intelligence, has been instrumental in the exponential growth of comments from 30,000 to 320,000 per month.

The new AI algorithm analyzes user comments and automatically approves or rejects them, without any human intervention. For comments that it cannot accurately evaluate, the final decision is made by the relevant department. The algorithm is designed to be continuously trained, ensuring its efficiency and accuracy over time.

It is worth noting that the dramatic increase in comments is mainly due to the drastic reduction in the time it takes to evaluate a comment – whether it will be approved or rejected – from three hours to one and a half minutes.

The implementation of this innovative technology, which contributes significantly to increasing the interaction of readers with the content of protothema.gr, was carried out by Cloudevo, the fastest growing digital growth company in Greece specializing in artificial intelligence services.
