Chania: Two climbers lost in the Lefka Ori have been found

Two mountaineers who attempted to hike in the Lefka Ori (White Mountains) this morning were found 20 kilometers from Anopoli in Dragonia, Sfakia.

Specifically, a 49-year-old man from Heraklion and a 68-year-old man from Korinthos lost their orientation while hiking on Sunday, July 28, ertnews.gr reported.

Their families, after hours of not being able to communicate with them, alerted the authorities and a rescue operation was set up with two teams from the Anopolis Fire Brigade.

The two men are in good health and were taken to Anopolis.
