The Greek Police’s booth offers a unique opportunity to visitors

Newsroom September 4 02:28

The Greek Police are actively participating in this year’s Thessaloniki International Fair, inviting all citizens to visit their booth and learn firsthand about the multidimensional activities and innovative initiatives that contribute to the safety and protection of our society.

This year, the Greek Police’s booth offers visitors a unique opportunity to become “Crime Scene Investigators for a Day” through a specially designed escape room. In this interactive space, with the assistance of specialized personnel from the Crime Scene Investigation Department of the Forensic Science Division, participants will be tasked with solving a hypothetical crime – the theft of an ancient figurine from a museum. Using forensic methods and tools, visitors will have the chance to uncover the secrets of crime investigation and experience the thrilling adventure of solving a mystery.

In addition, the Greek Police are offering visitors the opportunity to try out virtual reality (VR) glasses developed by the Cybercrime Division. With the VR glasses, visitors—especially young people—will be able to engage in educational games about online safety. Through a virtual environment, they will learn how to protect themselves from modern cyber threats. This experience combines fun with education, making cybercrime prevention accessible and engaging for everyone.
