Two ambulances arrived immediately at the scene and everyone was taken to the Venizelio Hospital for first aid. “At the bus stop they were waiting for the children’s father to pass by to pick them up, the motorbike crashed, he crashed into a car and went to leave and he crashed into the bus stop on top and injured the children. He injured all three of them. Two of them are in the University (hospital), the third one was left last night and left with scratches,” the children’s grandfather told MEGA.

According to reports, the driver of the motorbike had previously violated the KOK and had his driving licence revoked. “(The driver of the motorbike) has a lot of precedents with the traffic police and the police in Heraklion from what I learned. He is known to the authorities. With the motorbike running, he was arrested. For three months they had the bike in the mansion and they gave it to him the day before yesterday to ‘kill’ my girls,” the children’s grandfather added.
