Ministry of Education: Applications for student housing allowance start today

The deadline is September 18th

The application system for the housing allowance for the 2023-2024 academic year has reopened for those who did not apply by the first deadline, which was July 31, 2024.

From today, Thursday 12 September 2024 until Wednesday 18 September 2024, applications for the housing allowance for the academic year 2023-2024 may be resubmitted for those interested – beneficiaries who did not apply within the first deadline (25/6/2024 – 31/7/2024), as announced by the Ministries of Education, Religious Affairs & Sports.

Beneficiaries can submit their application digitally either directly, via the page, or via gov.gr, under the “Education” category and the “Universities and application subcategory.

The application can be accessed using Taxisnet codes of the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Governance. The institutional framework, the relevant circular, the user manual and a file of frequently asked questions and answers on the operation of the application are also posted on the website. The service was developed by the National Network of Infrastructures for Research and Technology – Research and Technology – EDYTE SA (GRNET), a body of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
