A touching story unfolded in Kamena Vourla with a dog saving a swimmer who was in danger of drowning on a beach.

With the help of the dog, in particular, a 77-year-old swimmer, who was unconscious and had drunk a lot of water, was saved from drowning.

The dog that saved the elderly man is a shepherd, named “Nala”, the only one in Greece that has received special training abroad to save people from drowning, according to Lamiareport.

After the 77-year-old was rescued, he was transferred to Lamia Hospital and is being treated out of danger.
