Pulse Poll: ND at 30%, PASOK at 16%, SYRIZA at 12.5% in voting estimate

Androulakis leads for PASOK leadership - Two out of three SYRIZA voters disapprove of the no-confidence motion against Kasselakis - 45% say the measures from the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) are heading in the right direction but more are needed

Newsroom September 18 09:01

A Pulse poll presented on Skai’s main news bulletin showed that ND (New Democracy) has returned to higher levels compared to the European elections, with an estimated vote share of 30%. PASOK comes in second with 16%—3.2 points higher than in the European elections—and SYRIZA is third with an estimated vote share of 12.5%, losing nearly 2.5 points compared to June’s European elections.

The 3-point gap between PASOK and SYRIZA is the largest ever recorded by this company, as in November-December 2023, the difference was just 1 point in favor of PASOK.

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) shows a slight rise of 0.3 points, while the Velopoulos party shows minor losses. Niki remains at 4.4%, and Plefsi Eleftherias records a rise of 0.6 points. Once again, MeRA25 appears to reach the 3% threshold, while Nea Aristera shows a loss of half a point at 2%. A big winner is Aphrodite Latinopoulou, with Foni Logikis gaining 1.5 points, reaching 4.5% in the voting estimate.

Majority Opposes No-Confidence Motion Against Kasselakis

Only 31% of SYRIZA voters—coincidentally the same percentage among ND and PASOK voters—view the no-confidence motion against Kasselakis in the Central Committee of SYRIZA positively. A significant portion of the Greek public is interested in SYRIZA’s internal elections, with 28% saying they are very or somewhat interested.

Androulakis Leads Ahead of PASOK Elections

With 18 days until PASOK’s internal elections on October 6, Pulse gives an advantage to current president Nikos Androulakis. He leads Haris Doukas by 9 points among PASOK voters from the 2023 national elections and by 11 points over Anna Diamantopoulou among voters from the European elections. Among current PASOK voters, it’s a close race between Androulakis and Doukas, while among those who intend to vote in the internal elections, Androulakis has a 5-point lead, with Doukas and Diamantopoulou tied at 22%.
