Iron Maiden: They will embark on a world tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary

The legendary Heavy Metal band will kick off in Budapest on May 27, 2025

Newsroom September 20 04:06

The legendary Iron Maiden, marking half a century in the music industry, will embark on a mammoth tour in 2025.

Named the “Run For Your Lives Tour,” it will kick off on May 27 in Budapest, followed by a performance in Prague just days later. They promise a special setlist focused on their first nine albums.

The Heavy Metal band will then perform five concerts in the UK and Ireland at venues like the London Stadium, home to West Ham, the favorite team of founder Steve Harris.

“My love for football and my support for West Ham is no secret, and I know many of our fans around the world share that with me. So, we are all very excited to play at the London Stadium as part of the tour,” said Steve Harris. “And of course, it’s not just London; the entire UK tour will be a real celebration for all of us.”

The American rockers Halestorm will be the guests for the outdoor concerts in London and Dublin, while The Raven Age will open all the shows in the UK and Ireland.

“50 years of Maiden and I have seen 46 of them!”, says the band’s manager, Rod Smallwood, in a statement.

“With over 100 million albums sold and nearly 2,500 performances in 64 countries, we continue in front of countless millions of fans. We all still love every second and see each tour as a new challenge to bring something different and exciting to our fans.”
