As we enter the heart of autumn, the political climate is gradually heating up, with political leaders holding their first confrontation in Parliament today.

The occasion is the discussion in Parliament regarding natural disasters.

The 300 deputies took their seats shortly after 11:00 AM. The blue party deputies welcomed Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with applause, while Nikos Androulakis made his first appearance after being re-elected as leader of PASOK.

Representing SYRIZA, which is in an election campaign, was Nikos Pappas at the level of party leaders.
