EuroLeague: Panathinaikos, following their road victory in Belgrade, climbed closer to the top, where Zalgiris remains firmly positioned.

Panathinaikos demonstrated resilience and secured an away win (77-81) against Crvena Zvezda in Serbia for Round 7 of the EuroLeague. The team now stands at a 5-2 record, alongside Barcelona—who were defeated by Olympiacos in SEF—Fenerbahce, who won against Partizan, and Bayern, who achieved a road victory in Villeurbanne.

Zalgiris continued their stellar run with a tight win over Monaco, 63-62, moving up to 6-1 to maintain their lead.

Crvena Zvezda – Panathinaikos 77-81

Despite struggling from the three-point line (6/21), Panathinaikos turned up the defensive pressure, overcoming a 14-point deficit (44-30 at 16 minutes) to clinch victory in the intense atmosphere of the “Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.” This marked Panathinaikos’ third consecutive win, giving them a total of five wins this season. Meanwhile, Crvena Zvezda saw their three-game winning streak end and fell to a 3-4 record.

Zalgiris – Monaco 63-62

In Lithuania for Round 7 of the EuroLeague, Zalgiris hosted Monaco. Despite a challenging third quarter, the home team managed a 63-62 victory. Top scorer Arnas Butkevicius led with 13 points, while Sylvain Francisco struggled, finishing with just one point and 10 missed shots. Zalgiris moved up to a 6-1 record, extending their undefeated streak to five games, while Monaco dropped to 4-3.

Fenerbahce – Partizan 89-72

Fenerbahce put on an impressive performance against Partizan, winning 89-72. The team improved to a 5-2 record, while Partizan dropped to 2-5. Fenerbahce shot a remarkable 19 for 37 from beyond the arc, with Hayes-Davis leading with 24 points and Biberovic contributing 17. On the opposing side, Dilkija scored 14 points, and Pokusevski finished with 10 points.

Villeurbanne – Bayern Munich 71-84

Bayern Munich emerged victorious over Villeurbanne with a score of 84-71, marking their fourth consecutive win and solidifying their position at the top of the EuroLeague standings with a 5-2 record. Villeurbanne, now at 2-5, saw standout performances from Nando De Colo, who scored 19 points. For Bayern, Devin Booker was a key player, scoring 16 points despite an injury.

Paris – Baskonia 67-65

Paris achieved another EuroLeague victory, narrowly defeating Baskonia at home with a 67-65 score. Paris now holds a 4-3 record, tying Baskonia. Shorts, Heifi, and Ward each scored nine points, while Jantunen added eight points and eight rebounds. For Baskonia, Monke had 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Hall contributed 11 points with eight rebounds.
