The weather changes next week with showers and a drop in temperatures.

Specifically, as EMF director Thodoris Kolydas says in a post, rainfall will occur mainly in the west, central and south while the phenomena will persist until the middle of next week. At the same time, he notes that due to the drop in temperature, there may be snowfall at high altitudes on the mountain peaks on Monday.

Generally clear weather in most of the country. In the Sporades, Evia, eastern Sterea, Crete and the southern Ionian Sea, a few clouds, occasionally increasing. Possibility of light localised showers in Crete and isolated thunderstorms off the southern Ionian Sea. Winds will blow in the west from east 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the east north 4 to 6 Beaufort and in the Aegean Sea locally 7 Beaufort.

The temperature will not change significantly and will reach 18 to 19 degrees Celsius in the north, 20 to 22 degrees Celsius in the rest of the regions and 23 to 24 degrees Celsius locally in the Ionian Sea, the western mainland, southern Crete and the Dodecanese.

From the afternoon, clouds are expected to increase and in the west and in the southern Ionian Sea there will be local showers and from the evening isolated thunderstorms.
Winds will blow in the west east southeast 3 to 4, in the east north northeast 4 to 5 and in the Aegean Sea locally up to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will slightly drop.
