Israel is building a wall with Syria – More than 7 km long – Satellite photos

Tel Aviv also fortifies the border with Syria and continues to build fortifications in the south with Gaza

Newsroom November 12 03:47

As the Israeli army continues to operate by striking targets both inside Lebanon in the north and inside Gaza in the south, a parallel plan to fortify the country with walls and roads that Tel Aviv is funding and building at high speed inside Syrian territory and in Gaza is being implemented.

Satellite photos released today by the Associated Press show the progress of the works in the Syrian territories, particularly on the border with the Golan Heights occupied by Israel. The photos show that Israel has constructed a 7.5-kilometer-long corridor that begins about 3 kilometers southwest of Majdal Shams.

Along with the road, Israeli forces at the site are also constructing a wall of similar length to the one they have built both on the border with the Palestinian enclave in the south and the country’s northern border with Lebanon. To speed up the procedures, Israel has, in addition to tanks, deployed a significant number of heavy-duty excavators and concrete mixers inside Lebanon. A report by the UN and specifically the Blue Line force, which is available to the US agency, states that to construct these works, Israeli forces have essentially violated the specific land border that has been in place since 2000.

To date, neither the Prime Minister’s Office nor Israel’s Ministry of Defense has commented on the matter.
