The President of the Constitutional Court of Bavaria and the Munich Court of Appeal, Hans Joachim Hessler visited the President of the Supreme Court, IJoana Klapa – Christodoullea and exchanged views on issues of concern to the legal communities of the two countries, from a legal and practical point of view.

During the meeting, in addition to the exchange of legal views, special reference was made to “hot” issues that concern not only the courts of the two countries, but have strong social dimensions in the everyday life of citizens.

Some of the issues brought to the table at the meeting were criminality of adults and domestic violence.

Also, Hans Joachim Hessler and Ms. Johanna Klapa – Christodoula pledged that there would be a strengthening of cooperation between the judicial systems of the two countries.

The meeting was also attended by Hans Guenter Leifler, director of legal and consular affairs of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the vice-president of the Supreme Court,Asimina Yfanti.
