Donald Trump Jr said he and Kimberly Guilfoyle “will never stop caring about each other.”

Specifically, the son of the US president-elect, speaking to Page Six on Friday and following extensive reports that the couple had split, said that “Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and we will always be united by a special relationship.”

He also added about Gilfoil, regarding Donald Trump’s father’s insistence that she succeed George Chounis as head of the US embassy in Athens: “I couldn’t be more proud of her and the important role she will continue to play in my father’s administration.”

Trump Jr. also defended Gilfoil after hits she has reportedly taken from media outlets, saying: “Anyone who makes cheap fake news attacks against her is just embarrassing themselves.”
