EMY has updated the emergency weather bulletin, noting that for the rest of the day the focus of bad weather will be on the Cyclades, eastern Aegean, Crete and Dodecanese

The new special weather bulletin

Today Saturday (28.12.2024) heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are forecast for the Cyclades, the islands of the eastern Aegean, in places in Crete (mainly in the north) and from the afternoon in the Dodecanese.

Snowfall will occur in the mountains of Evia, the eastern Aegean islands, the northern Cyclades and Crete.

Gusty northeast winds of 8 to 9 Beaufort will blow in the Aegean Sea, weakening from the evening.
