Fire broke out on Thursday afternoon (2/1) in a house located in the port of Ermoupolis in Syros. Men of the Fire Department with 3 vehicles as well as police forces were rushed to the spot.
According to cyclades24.gr, a woman was rescued from the house, after the assistance of passers-by who saw the flames and she seeking help. She was transferred to Syros Hospital for precautionary reasons.

“If another 2 minutes had passed, she would have died, the fire was coming out,” said a man who helped extricate the woman, among others.
