The average hotel rate for a night at a popular winter destination in Greece does not exceed the 100 eur.

Trikala Corinthias and Tsagarada of Pelion are consider to be the most expensive destinations for this year.

Ioannina, Karpenisi and Xanthi hold a  good position in the list of the most popular winter destinations for Greek travelers.

The Asteroupoli on the lakeside of Ioannina is an attraction for young and old during the festive season.

At the same time, the average hotel price for a double room this  December stands at 72 euro compare to 81 euro in December last year.

A similar situation applies in Karpenisi with hotel rates being reduced by 15%.
