The possibilities of enhancing economic cooperation between Greece and Finland was the subject of talks between Minister of Macedonia and Thrace George Orfanos and Ambassador of Finland in Athens, Pauli Makela, who visited the Minister.
“Bilateral relations are at an excellent level. We talked about investments that can be made, both in the framework of development law 3908/2011 which is managed by the Ministry and in other areas such as infrastructure, primary production, processing, trade and tourism. All these can bring us closer”, said Mr. Orfanos.
The Ambassador stressed that there is scope for strengthening cooperation, especially in the tourism sector, since 200,000 Finns visit Greece every year. He expressed his view that their number might be increased.
